Children holding acorns ready for planting

Join Napa Vision 2050  and RCD (Resource Conservation District) on Saturday, November 11, from 10 am to noon, to plant acorns and hope in the hills west of Napa.

We will be planting valley oak, black oak, and the most fire resilient of all, coastal oak acorns.

After planting, enjoy lunch  provided by Napa Vision 2050. Participation will be limited to about 20. Children are encouraged! Please reply to editor@napavision2050.org to reserve your spot. We will send directions.

Since the area to be planted is hilly, wear boots or sturdy shoes, a hat, and layers of clothing in case it’s cool.

We have been receiving requests, asking “What should I do with burned areas?”
