Hello Friends of Napa Vision 2050,
We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the Napa Valley community wanting to help those affected by the fires. We are forever grateful to the first responders, who are on the front lines of these fires protecting our community. Keep taking care of each other, as this isn’t over yet and for many, it’s just beginning. Our thoughts continue to be with our friends and neighbors affected by these fires.
We wanted to share with you an update on the large animal rescue efforts –
Donations to the Napa Vision 2050 website allowed us to deliver two carloads of tools and materials to the Napa Large Animal Evacuation site at the Solano County Fairgrounds yesterday.
Last night we were able to get horse corral panels and two gated panels out there. Vets volunteering at the site asked us for sprayers to sanitize stalls – we were able to deliver five.
Many thanks to all of you for your donations.
The site expects to be operational for at least two months so will continue to need our support. We have filled many of their construction needs. They have enough hay and bedding for the time being but will need more as time goes by.
Your donations go a long way.
You may help by donating HERE, noting that your gift is for the Napa Vision 2050 Large Animal Rescue Fund. We will keep you updated.
