Do you want to know who is funding each candidate? These days when tens of thousands of dollars are donated to a single supervisory campaign by one entity or person, we need to know. We look forward to the county and city campaign funding limits signed into law by Governor Newsom that will take effect in January 2021. Will dark money find its way around this? But for now, we voters need to stay informed.
Here is the county portal that gives the most up-to-date reporting of campaign donations: click here.
The Bill Dodd/ Palmaz Connection:
Christian Palmaz has already taken over 1200 hours of Napa County Planning Department time on his private heliport application, which has been turned down by the Planning Commission (4-1) and the Airport Land Use Commission (6-1). And ten years ago the Napa Register reported that “The Palmaz family was a major donor to the tune of $500,000 to the capital improvements to the Justin Siena football field which was named after Bill Dodd’s parents”.
