We at Napa Vision 2050 are proud to support the Napa Youth Climate Strike happening this Friday, Sept. 20 at 2pm in Napa Veterans Park. We support our local youth in expressing their concerns about our changing climate and having a voice in democracy. They are rising up to demand care for the earth that they will inherit.
The event takes place three days before the UN Climate Summit in NYC and joins together young people and adults who will strike all across the US and the world to demand meaningful and transformative action be taken to address the climate crisis.
Millions will join together in their streets globally to demand justice for our planet and a right to a future. In Napa, as in New York, Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, London, Tel Aviv, Mexico City, and hundreds more cities, they will march and rally to demand real action by our elected officials and world leaders.
