Deborah is a fifth generation Coombsville Napan, and a lucky descendant of San Francisco’s first gold and silver smiths who chose this beautiful valley for their retirement in 1851. She is the co-founder of Fortune Public Relations, a Bay Area agency established in 1986 and known for its work with organic brands, as well as talented chefs and restaurateurs. Before that she had work experiences at KQED, Children’s Hospital, the Bancroft Library, and the SF Newsweek Bureau. She holds a BA in English from Mills College and studied library science at UC Berkeley.

“I was drawn to Napa Vision 2050 and impressed by its tenacity and ongoing quest for transparency around local government and critical environmental issues. Rather than stand by and grumble, I chose to join with others and take action. Like Alexander Hamilton, I want to be in the room where it happens!”
